Secondary Schools Symposium

The Secondary Schools Symposium is a signature event of Global Business Week, designed to inspire and guide the next generation of leaders in the global business sector.

This engaging forum brings together business students and other interested fourth, fifth, and sixth form students from public and private secondary schools across Barbados. The symposium equips young people with the knowledge and insights they need as they prepare to pursue university studies or professional courses.

Through interactive sessions and presentations, students gain a deeper understanding of the diverse careers within the global business sector and learn how to make the right educational and career choices to excel in their chosen paths.

Each year, the event continues to grow, attracting over 120 students and teachers, reflecting the high level of interest and enthusiasm among Barbados’ future business leaders.
